Wish We Would Have Known About This Sooner!

by Kevin Watson

Today we start our trip back to Texas after spending a few weeks in Maine. On our first stop, we head to Jefferson Campground in Jefferson, New Hampshire. We are surprised by our view of the White Mountains from our campground and can’t wait to start exploring!

First up is The Mount Washington Cog Railway, which we have been looking forward to since the start of our trip in January! We’ve heard so much about this rail system and the views you get from the top of Mount Washington, that we can’t wait to check it out ourselves! After riding the cog railway, we go on a waterfall hunt and see the Silver Cascade, Diana’s Baths and the Glen Ellis Falls.

The following day, we go to Franconia Notch to see The Basin, which sits on the Pemigewasset River. Then, we go to our main attraction of Flume Gorge to see The Flume! To say we were pleasantly surprised, is the biggest understatement ever! This place was AMAZING! We are so surprised by New Hampshire and can’t believe we never knew so much beauty was in this area! Last, we go on the Kancamagus Scenic Byway to see the Sabbaday Falls and Lower Falls before ending the video with a tour of Jefferson Campground!
