When Things Don’t Go As Planned!
This video marks our fifth video in our “Week In The Life” series here in Williamsburg, Virginia! We plan on going to Norfolk to see the Virginia Air & Space Science Center, then seeing the Battleship Wisconsin, before taking a drive on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel.
Our first stop is the Virginia Air & Space Science Center, where we spend time inside the interactive museum and even get to watch an IMAX movie, while there! Next, we travel to The Battleship Wisconsin, which is in the heart of Norfolk! Unfortunately, we arrive too late, so we were unable to see the Battleship, as it is about to close, when we arrive.
We ditch our plans of seeing the Chesapeake Bay Bridge and Tunnel and decide to check out the Waterside District that we saw when driving in! We grab a bite to eat, get the kids some ice cream and walk over to an outdoor festival they are having in the park, that is full of vendors and live music! We have learned that some of the best days we’ve had are the ones that are spontaneous and unplanned!
