We Were Brought To Tears!
You Need To See This!

by Kevin Watson

Our third and final day in Washington D.C. is all about the brave men and women who have served our great country! We start with a trip to the Arlington National Cemetery, where we get to see the magnitude of how many soldiers have served in our armed forces. While there, we also see the Changing of the Guard Ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. We recommend you make the time to see this ceremony, if you have the chance to visit the Arlington National Cemetery. We finish up our trip to the cemetery with a tour of the Arlington House and learn why it is a significant piece of our history.

Next, we go to the Pentagon Memorial, which brought us to tears. It is a beautiful memorial that pays respects to those who lost their lives in the attack on the Pentagon on September 11, 2001. We also take you on a recap of all of the memorials we’ve seen while in Washington D.C. before finishing up our time here.
