We Slid Down The Hill!
When we arrived at Branson View Campground, we knew getting out of our site would be challenging. We just didn’t anticipate the problems it would actually cause. After talking about what obstacles we should be aware of, we start the process of leaving our site. Kevin quickly realizes that once the RV backs onto the asphalt pavement while the truck is still on gravel, the truck brakes aren’t stopping the truck and we begin sliding down the hill. We figure out what challenges we will need to overcome in order to maneuver the truck and RV out of the site.
After finally getting out of our site safely, we are on our way! It is a long travel day with over 350-miles to travel to get to Twin Fountains RV Park in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Along the route, we discuss how we could have handled the difficult RV site better and what we will look for at future RV sites when deciding if we should park there or not.
