We Need More Space!
We take you on a tour of Cypress Bend RV Park in Many, Louisiana on Toledo Bend Lake, where we are staying for the next three weeks! The park has pavilions, playgrounds, a beach area, fishing docks and more and is a great place to spend time with family and friends before heading out on our own.
We have a lot of projects to check off of our list, so we start with building a table top for Buddy’s cage, so that we have a place to store things without them falling through the cage onto him. We also tackle a closet project in the second bathroom, since we need a place to store our winter coats now that Kaden has taken over the closet space in our master bedroom.
These projects prove to be time consuming, as Louisiana is getting so much rain! We also have to pause the project to honor Kevin’s grandmother, Maw Maw, who passed away unexpectedly while we are at the lake that she and his Paw Paw brought him to as a kid. Because of the traditions they instilled in Kevin, we are able to share those same traditions with our children. It was a bittersweet time at the lake, but we honor Maw Maw’s legacy, and make priceless family memories that we hope our kids will carry with them forever.
