We Left The Truck!
Thank goodness for St. Augustine, Florida’s Old Town Trolley Tour! After attempting to walk the Old Town area the day prior, we wised up and decided to take the trolley tour to visit all of the places in Old Town, St. Augustine that we wanted to see. This proved to be the BEST way to see the city and all of the local attractions, as it saves you so much walking and time!
We started with a tour of the Old Jail, then visited the St. Augustine History Museum and Oldest Store Museum. From there, the trolley took us to our first stop, which was the Flagler College and the Lightner Museum, where we then walked down St. George Street to eat at a local favorite, Prohibition Kitchen!
We earned our National Park stamp from Castillo de San Marcos National Monument, which is one of St. Augustine's historic forts! Then, we took the trolley to the Fountain of Youth, which is where we ended our day! We had such a fun day being tourists and are in awe of all of the attractions this city has to offer!
