We Finally Made It To Maine
And We Were Disappointed!
Our first outing in Old Orchard Beach is to Palace Playland Amusement Park, which is right next to the beach! We meet up with our friends who we met in Terlingua, Texas about six months ago, for a night of fun at the amusement park, before heading to dinner to give a lobster roll another try!
We take you on a tour of our campground, Sun Retreats Wild Acres and instead of going to the beach like we had planned, we decide to play a round of mini golf and hang out at the RV park since they have a lot of activities planned for the holiday weekend. Some of the highlights of the park are a trolley service that takes you into downtown Old Orchard Beach, multiple playgrounds and pools (some are even heated), a zip line and ropes course, beach access parking and live music under the pavilion!
