The Middle Of Nowhere!
Our adventure starts with us visiting the Dickinson Museum Center in Dickinson, North Dakota, which includes the Badlands Dinosaur Museum, the Joachim Regional Museum and the Pioneer Machinery Hall.
Inside the Badlands Dinosaur Museum, there are fossils galore, and it even has a children's area full of dinosaur themed games. The Joachim Regional Museum takes you through the different eras of history surrounding southwestern North Dakota, while the Pioneer Machinery Hall is full of early ranching and agricultural farming equipment.
The second part of our day is spent at the Patterson Lake Recreation Area where we go exploring and then let our girls have some play time. While we are there, we leave the painted rock that our aunt gave us, and finish the day celebrating our dog, Buddy's, "Gotcha" Birthday!
