Small Thing, Big Price!

by Kevin Watson

We’ve been in Mystic, Connecticut a few days and haven’t ventured out of the RV park, so today, we decide it is time to go on an adventure to Mystic Seaport. While there, we feel this place is a lot like Colonial Williamsburg, since the town has been recreated, there are people dressed in costume-era costumes and lots of history to be seen! We get to tour the world’s oldest wooden vessel, the Charles Morgan, which was used as a whaling boat in the 1600’s.

We take the kids to the children’s museum inside of Mystic Seaport, let them play on a playground, see figure heads from old boats and have fun exploring as much as we can before the kids get too tired! We decide to get oysters from the Oyster House in Mystic and get to eat in a treehouse! Last, we put our sticker on for Connecticut and realize we are a few states behind!
