Wildlife, waterfalls and views galore, Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park, Colorado is one of our favorite parks, yet! We hike the Alluvial Fan Trail, to see a beautiful waterfall, before the cold and rainy weather set in! While driving Trail Ridge Road (the highest paved national park road in America), we see deer, elk, turkeys and mountain goats! Having a second day reservation pass a few days after our first visit turned out to be essential, since the weather started out better on our second visit!
We stayed in Loveland, Colorado (which is just a short drive to Rocky Mountain National Park) and our RV park, Riverview RV Park, even had The Waffle Lab Fort Collins Food Truck and live music for everyone in the park to enjoy one evening, which was so much fun!
