We travel on Colorado National Monument's Rim Rock Drive from Fruita, Colorado to Grand Junction, Colorado and witness spectacular views all along the drive!
From the deep red rock canyons to the towering monoliths, we thoroughly enjoy our time here!
This National Monument is less traveled, so many times throughout the day, we feel we have the entire place to ourselves! If you climb Independence Monument, you'll find an American flag atop the 450-foot rock tower, placed there by John Otto, who helped found the Monument in 1911!
